What you receive
Every clip comes out of the same edit, so your feed looks like one show and not a pile of random cuts. Each clip is about 30 to 60 seconds and is built to stand on its own for someone who has never heard of your podcast. Here is what is in each one:
- A vertical MP4 at 1080×1920, with loudness set for a phone speaker, so the clip does not come out quiet next to everything else in the feed.
- A hook on screen in the first 3 seconds. A short headline that states the payoff, so a viewer knows why to keep watching.
- Word-by-word captions placed inside each platform's safe zone, so buttons and usernames do not cover them. Names and brands are spelled the way they are said on your show.
- A lesson card: a one-line takeaway at the end of the clip.
- Post copy: a title, a caption, hashtags, a credit to your show, and a link back to the full episode.
- A speaker-tracked 9:16 crop, so the person talking stays in frame when the camera angle is wide.
- A person checks the cut before it goes out.

What this is not
"Podcast clipping" now covers two very different things, plus a lot of software. It is worth being plain about which one this is.
Not an AI login
Tools such as Opus Clip, Choppity, and proclips are products the host operates: you upload an episode, the software suggests clips, and you review, fix, caption, and post them yourself. Those products can draft clips; this service is the selection, the edit, and the cadence. You do not get a login and a queue of suggestions to sort through. You get finished clips on a schedule.
Not a clipping campaign
Some "podcast clipping agency" offers work differently: they hand your episode to a network of other creators, who post clips on their own accounts and get paid per view. We do not do that. We do not farm your episode out to a network of other creators, and we do not sell verified views. Clips are for your show's own channels. We post only on accounts you grant, or we send you the files.

MogulTape is built for US podcast hosts and YouTube creators whose episodes are about business, money, investing, or trading, and who already record on camera. Those shows are full of the moments that work in a short feed: a strong opinion, a hard number, a founder story with a clear turn, a lesson that fits in one line.
The edit is a vertical crop of a video episode. Video in, clips out. If your show is audio-only, it is not a fit today: we need a video episode to reframe for a 9:16 screen. We do not make waveform or audiogram videos.
It also suits hosts who want their own channels to stay active between episodes without hiring an in-house editor or spending their week inside clipping software.

Where clips go
Platforms and cadence
Clips are made for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. Because each file is a vertical 1080×1920 MP4, the same clip also works on Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
Cadence follows your plan, not "as many clips as a model can emit". Starter is 8 clips a month, about 2 a week. Growth is 20 clips a month, about 5 a week, or roughly one every weekday. Pro is 40 clips a month, about 10 a week. That number is a monthly count across your episodes. It is not a promise that one episode holds 40 moments worth posting. A strong clip needs a moment that makes sense with no context.
The fine print, plainly
Rights, canceling, and claims
- You keep the rights. You keep all rights to your content and to every clip we make from it. Each clip credits your show, and we only clip what you asked us to clip.
- Cancel any month. Plans are month to month with no long-term contract. Cancel and you will not be billed for the next month.
- No added claims. We do not add financial advice, price targets, or hype that was not said on the episode. A clip shows what was said, credited and in context. For money and trading shows, that matters: the clip should never say more than your guest did.

There are three monthly plans. Starter is $149 a month for 8 clips (about $18.60 per clip), delivered as ready-to-post files. Growth is $299 a month for 20 clips (about $15 per clip), and adds brand colors plus the option for us to post on your accounts. Pro is $549 a month for 40 clips (about $13.70 per clip), and adds a monthly performance summary and priority turnaround. Your first month is 50% off, so it costs $74.50, $149.50, or $274.50, and then the regular price applies. Prices are in USD, billed monthly, with no free trial and no annual contract.
